What is a Webfolio? A Webfolio is also called an electronic portfolio or a digital portfolio - it's a collection of material on a related subject so it could be a website, a blog, a Word document with hyperlinks or a Powerpoint.

The idea of the webfolio in this case is to use it as a way to put together your coursework - for 'AS' Level, two 'readings' or investigations and a presentation, which are going to be linked, in terms of theme. For A2 level, a Case Study and a Creative Piece.

The presentation, at both 'AS' and 'A2' level, is likely to contain pictures, videoclips and other visual and audio elements so you need some software which will enable you to combine all these elements. You can do this in a Powerpoint presentation and we will give you some tips here on how to do that. You can even do it with Microsoft Word.

However, if you are feeling ambitious, brave or foolhardy or you are just a technical whizzo you can use any of the free software in the left-hand margin or applications such as Adobe Dreamweaver, Flash, Fireworks etc if you happen to have those applications on your computer.

This page is to help you with the structure and technical aspects of putting together your work for presentation and marking. Guides to content can be found on the AS Module 2 or A2 Module 4 links at the top of the page.

Which format shall I use for my webfolio and/or presentation?
Please be advised that the content of the samples below is in no way intended to be a guide to your content - I have just cobbled together some sample pages with some fairly random content so don't copy them!!)

There are advantages and disadvantages to each of the pieces of software or formats below but they all allow you to use text, images and/or sound. Choose the one which fits your content and your audience best or with which you feel the most confident and comfortable.
